Carbamide, also known as "urea", is a type of fertilizer used in the production of plant foods and animal feed. Urea, whose chemical formula is CO(NH2)2, can be found as a slightly moist powder or as small grains. This fertilizing agent is a nitrogenous fertilization used especially in agricultural activities. Thanks to its high nitrogen content, it encourages the growth of plants and increases productivity. Urea is also used in some industrial applications, such as the production of polymers. It can also be found in urea-based cosmetic products.
